Eretz Y’israel – At Home Soon

            I always wanted to go to the place that the bible has been talking about – Israel. I am actually a student from a far-flung place in Bukidnon, Philippines and I am very much obsessed (perhaps) on travel and related adventures. BUT ‘MONEY-PROBLEMS’ KEPT MY FOOTING AT THE MUNICIPALITY OF TALAKAG. Buhay, murag kinabuhi! (alien mode).

Since I am a photography ‘addict’, I saw a lot of stuffs of people travelling from the icy poles to the hot desserts to the breezy and fjords. Oh c’mon! I’m still at Talakag.

            Then, ISRAEL…

            Ah! Yes. Israel – the place where the ends of the world meet, where my heart is beating for, where half of life of Jonathan (Hi! That’s me baby!) is ever since I met the Almighty Creator.

            There are particular things that I am in particular of in going to Israel (though I really want to step my feet on every part of this place).

1.     The seas.

a.      The Red Sea.

b.     The Mediterranean Sea.

c.      The Sea of Galilee.

d.     The Dead Sea.

2.     The vineyards.

3.     The Masada Mountains.

4.     The University of Tel Aviv.

5.     The Remains of the tomb of the Messiah.

6.     The Wailing Wall (Western Wall).

7.     The Old Synagogues.

8.     Jerusalem.

9.     Judean Dessert.

10.  Kibbutz Ein-Gedi.

11.  Tiberias.

12.  Caesarea.

13.  Beer-Sheba.

14.  Arava Valley. And,

15.  Their Language (Hebrew).

The bible tells us that Israel is (and has been) the ‘Promised Land’ for the people who’ll follow the commandments, the statutes, and the decrees of Yahweh. Though I am not part of the families who have bloodlines related to Judah, Reuben, Levi, etc., but still I know that by keeping the ways of living which they, the chosen people, are following, I can be a part of the Kingdom of Yahweh! Selah! I know someday I can go there, at Israel!
